Analyzing and interpreting data
Students must read and analyze data in multiple formats (both in words and quantitative data) in order to use that evidence in their persuasive letters to President Willow. They will analyze evidence in the form of a memo, a line graph, a political cartoon, a speech, etc.
Engaging in argument from evidence
Based on the evidence they analyze regarding school systems in other parts of the Infini-D world, students will write a persuasive argument about how the school system in the Outer Rim should be set up. This will involve analyzing media of various types and data in multiple forms in order to cite evidence that is most relevant to their point.
